Yahweh Rophe (YAH-weh RO-fee) – I Am the Lord Who Heals You.

Yahweh Rophe – The LORD Heals

Exodus 15:19-27

Yahweh Rophe (YAH-weh RO-fee) –

I Am the Lord Who Heals You.

The Hebrew word translated heal in English means to mend, to repair, to cure, to restore, to make fresh or make whole. On one occasion, the word is even translated "physician" (Jeremiah 8:22). In the Bible, the word heal may refer to physical healing or spiritual healing – for healing always involves the entire person – spirit, soul, body, heart, mind and will. Every human needs healing. The brokenness of our world, our environment, our bodies, our souls, our spirits and our relationships is ultimately the consequence of sin. If humans had never sinned, there would be no need for healing.
Jesus – Emmanuel,
God with us -- became human to heal the great sickness of sin once for all. "He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds!" (1 Peter 2:24 NLT). All healing has its source in Yahweh Rophe – I Am the LORD who heals you.
. . . I AM a God who heals. I heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, broken lives and broken relationships. My very Presence has immense healing powers. You cannot live close to Me without experiencing some degree of healing. However, it is true that you have not because you ask not. You receive the healing that flows naturally from My Presence, whether you seek it or not. But there is more – much more – available to those who ask . . .

"If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you." (Exodus 15:26)
There it is; God reveals himself as Jehovah-Rophe for the first time to his covenant people. Do you wonder why he chose that particular time to reveal this part of his character? He didn't do it after a big healing service although he had just healed the bitter waters of Marah where they were camping. I think he did it in this timing to comfort his people and to give them hope for their future.
They must have been wondering; what kind of God are we serving? Notice how God says "I will put none of the disease on you which I have brought on the Egyptians." The Israelites must have been thinking in their hearts; look what Jehovah did to them, is he going to bring plagues on us too? They had seen the mighty power of God as he controlled the weather and the natural force of the sea. They saw that his judgments could be terrible; they believed in his awesomeness greatness, yes, but was there any other side to him?
The Lord wanted them to know that he wanted to be known as their healer. In fact, he was making a solemn pact with them so that they would always live in healing. All they had to do was remain faithful to him and his commands and they would remain free from diseases. As time went along, they of course did not keep their end of the bargain. But that did not stop God from continuing to reveal himself as healer. Ultimately, God poured out his desire to be healer through Jesus Christ. Listen to what the prophet Isaiah says would be the destiny of the Messiah:
"Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Please note the present tense, "we ARE healed." His work on the cross paid the totally price for our healing once and for all. Do you need Jehovah-Rophe today? For your body? For you soul? For your mind? He is still in the healing business today and he is only a prayer away. Call upon him!

Be Ye Healed.. In JESUS Name !!

Yahweh Rophe – The Lord Who Heals

"I Am YHWH Who Heals You"

Exodus 15:26

The LORD said, "IF you will diligently hearken to the voice of YHWH your GOD, and do what is right in His eyes, and incline your ears to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you that I have put upon the Egyptians; for I am YHWH who heals you" (Exodus 15:26).

What a wonderful promise GOD has given us, to heal us and keep us healthy from all diseases. There is only ONE condition: that we listen to His voice. May we always seek Him directly, who is not only our great Physician, but our HEALER.

Our full health is so important to Him, who loves us, that He has promised it over and over again:

"It shall come to pass, IF you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that YHWH your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers. And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you. You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock. And YHWH will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you” (Deut. 7:12-15).

You shall serve YHWH your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfil the number of your days” (Ex. 23:25-26).

“Bless YHWH, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy Name! Bless YHWH, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your adornment [ph. the flourishing almond-tree] with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's” (Psalm 103:1-5).

GOD promises perfect health to His children when they obey Him with a perfect heart. And we ask, "How can we receive that right now?"

a. Look up to GOD. Is anything too difficult for YHWH? (Gen. 18:14; Jer. 32:27,17; Luke 1:37). GOD is GOD; the Almighty Creator of the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1; 14:19. Is. 40:28). He created you. Did you help Him in doing that? (Job 38:1‑7; Psa. 139). Do you think He cannot mend a broken member?

"And GOD saw everything that He had made, and behold it was very good" (Genesis 1:31). But there was NO sin. If we do away with sin, GOD restores perfect health and happiness. Sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4). Sin is rebellion against GOD.

Yeshua said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments" (John 14:15). Loving GOD is the only way to obey GOD (Matt. 22:37‑40).

He who loves and obeys GOD, has ALL the blessings of GOD.

GOD looks upon the heart. If you keep the greatest commandment of all, you will perfectly keep all the other commandments (Deut. 6:4‑5). "Hear, Israel: YHWH our GOD YHWH is One; and you shall love YHWH your GOD with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength." Romans 13:10.

How is your prayer fellowship with GOD? (That is a thermometer.)
Mary sat down at the feet of Yeshua listening (Luke 10:42). Inspired by the Holy Spirit she anointed her Lord, the best she could do.

b. Let GOD be the First in your life? (Is. 44:6; 48:12). First in the morning? (Mark 1:35).
Do you seek GOD, or His healing?
Are you satisfied with GOD and His promise?
GOD can impossibly lie (Heb. 6:18).
I suggest that we start looking upon GOD and simply take His promise as a love‑gift and begin praising Him, thanking Him for His gift, thanking Him for Himself, giving Him our heart.
Love is health. Love heals all wounds.
